This illustrated op/ed uses images and data to support its argument that increasing vehicle sizes have seriously impacted the safety of pedestrians. It touts the benefits of smaller cars and advocates for stricter safety measures for vehicle design in the United States.



This final project was created in response to the Individual Data Advocacy Project assignment sequence as the final project in an upper-division technical writing course dedicated to data advocacy and is shared here with the permission of the author.
